Dr. M.C. Lin

Chairman

Dr. Ming-chou Lin is the co-founder and Chairman of our company. As one of the earliest scientists in Taiwan to engage in nanosilicon nanowire field-effect transistor research, he has long focused on nanoelectronics, semiconductor devices, and quantum electronics technologies. He has successfully integrated semiconductor technology with biomolecular detection, ushering in a new era of precision diagnostics.

Dr. Lin graduated from the Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering at National Taiwan University and subsequently joined the Institute of Physics at Academia Sinica as a postdoctoral researcher. Starting in 1997, he conducted cutting-edge technology R&D in the Quantum Electronic Devices Laboratory led by Dr. Chii-dong Chen.

In 2014, he co-founded Molsentech Corporation with Dr. Chu and assumed the role of Chairman. The company’s core technology originates from technology transfer of Academia Sinica research achievements and received support from the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incentive Program at its inception.

Dr. Lin’s expertise spans nanoelectronics, semiconductors, and biosensing, with outstanding contributions to early disease screening and precision medicine. His research findings have been published in numerous international journals, and he holds multiple patents, including the “Dual-Function Electro-Optical Silicon Field-Effect Transistor Molecular Sensor” (Patent No. I811877).

He has also been frequently invited to deliver speeches at industry-academia forums, such as presenting the silicon-based molecular detection platform at the Nanotechnology Startup Exchange, demonstrating his profound influence in both academic and industrial circles.
